Password-protected pages

How to get your pages password-protected. Ensure you’re logged in and if you have any issues, please ask Amanda Soh or Hannah Briggs.

Get to the Protected Page setting

Home >  Administration >  Configuration > System > Protected-pages

Add a password to your page

  1. Click on + Add Protected Page button (in the photo above)
  2. Include the forward-slash (/) after misti.mit.edu to the Relative path* section
  3. Add password and confirm password
  4. Click Save!
  5. Please remember your passwords, add it to your Lastpass.

Forgotten your password?

If you have forgotten the password:

  1. Return to the Protected Page
  2. Select the page from list (like image below)
  3. Click edit for the specific page

4. Include a password, confirm it, and then save again.

Delete password for page

On the list of protected pages, click on the drop-down arrow next to the Edit button to delete.
